Professional ethics and integrity course

Between the 29th August and 1st September 2016, the Centre held the final phase of the Professional Ethics and Integrity Course in Gaborone, Botswana. Twenty-one participants from Botswana, Cameroon, Kenya, Lesotho, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, Swaziland, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia attended the course whose primary objective was to impart knowledge on ethics and integrity; and also to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to train their colleagues and clients on the topic.

Resource persons were Professor Martin Prozesky from Compass Ethics Company in South Africa Dr. Roger Koranteng and Mr. Augustus Cole from Commonwealth Secretariat, and Mr. Eric Budu from Quality Skills and Frameworks consultancy based in Botswana.  The resource person used different methods of facilitation such as lectures and groupwork.  Participants also made presentations of assignments from the previous module.
